Professional Organizer

Can you no longer see the wood for the trees? Is the chaos in your house creating chaos in your head? Maybe it’s time to seek help from a Professional Organizer! Barbara Borden has been trained by the NBPO (Dutch Society of Professional Organizers) and can offer help and support with clearing up your home or workplace. The professional organizer is also indispensable when it comes to downsizing, or a house clearance in the case of the death of a family member.

The professional organizer is a sort of “tidying coach”. There could be all sorts of reasons you might need help keeping your house in order. Perhaps you’re too busy to constantly think of clearing up, or the job is too big for one person. Maybe there’s simply so much “stuff” you don’t know where to begin!

The professional organizer offers advice and support when organizing papers and other items. Together we decide which things to keep – important papers, things that are useful or that have sentimental value – and what can be got rid of. I can give you advice about how to dispose of unwanted items in an environmentally friendly way. And we devise handy storage systems, so that it’s quick and easy to find things again! The aim in doing this is to create order, peace and space, both in your home and in your head.

An area in which the professional organizer is particularly useful is in house clearance, either for a loved one who has died or for someone who is merely downsizing. I will take extra care with items that have special significance and give the client enough time and space to make good decisions about what should happen to these items. The ultimate decision always lies with the client.
